Spiritual

The quintessential phrase on worship is that we “Worship in spirit and in truth.” Intertwined with the physical world we experience with our senses, a spiritual world exists that is equally as real. Of these two realms, one is lasting forever and one will come to an end.

A. W. Tozer wrote that we have a “means of which we can know God as certainly as we know material things through our familiar five senses… We apprehend the physical world by exercising the faculties given us for the purpose, and we possess spiritual faculties by means of which we can know God and the spiritual world if we will obey the Spirit’s urge and begin to use them.”

Prayer immediately comes to mind, but there are many other Spiritual Disciplines that we need to employ in order to experience God in the fullest.

Also, from the scene in the Garden at the beginning of the Bible, to the closing scene at the end of Revelation, spiritual beings, both good and evil, proliferate the pages of Scripture. Sometimes we call this Spiritual Warfare. What does the Bible really say about angels and demons.
