Top Ten Books is a list of the ten most impactful books that we have read. Just as Old Yeller was tough reading (and made me cry my eyes out) when I was 10, and The Brothers Karamazov was good when I was 40, some of these books struck us deeply early in our walk, while others hit us where we are at today and would have been hard to digest in our Christian youth.

(I have to admit, this is not my real list. Being a Bible Teacher I find commentaries and theology books most enjoyable, but I thought you'd find that boring. My favorite commantary is Romans by Douglass Moo, and my favorite theology book is Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem. I also loved Biblical Eldership by Alexander Strauch and God's Empowering Presence by Gordon Fee, but I don't like to admit these things when I'm trying to look cool.)

These are the most recent and/or hold the greatest impact, though if I reach back further I would pull out Schaeffer's Trilogy and Notes from the Underground. I'd also have to offer my favorite classics such as The Count of Monte Cristo and Robinson Crusoe (both unabridged). Is that cheating? I listed more than ten. Well, Kyle cheated too if you didn't notice.
